Mr. Naoki Nukariya, CPA, brings 20+ years in diverse audit, review, tax, and consulting experiences in Japan and the U.S to his role as a Japanese-English bilingual Certified Public Accountant.
Education and Work Experiences in Japan
Naoki earned his B.A. in economics from Waseda University in Tokyo. When he was a university student, he passed Japanese CPA exam and started his carrier as a CPA. He worked for Chuo Aoyama Audit Corporation (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for 6 years in total and was engaged in audit of public and non-public companies in diverse industries such as non-ferrous metal, construction, precision instrument, cement, and services industries. He also handled initial public offerings, due diligence projects, and other consulting services.

Education and Work Experiences in the U.S.
After 6 years of experience in Japan, he came to the U.S. in 2008 to learn U.S. accounting and tax regulations and joined Hotta Liesenberg Saito LLP in 2009. He served as the senior manager on a variety of audit clients in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, logistics, entertainment, and services.
In July 2017, he started his own practice and is engaged in various consulting, bookkeeping, and tax services for individuals and business entities.
Memberships and Licenses
Naoki is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Japan and the States of California, the U.S. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
